100 Miles of Christmas on Route 66
Edmond is participating in a new event called “100 Miles of Christmas on Route 66” through Oklahoma’s Midpoint Corridor. Eleven cities along Route 66 will light up their community from mid-November through Dec. 29, with different themes to encourage visitors to pack up their holiday spirit and travel along Route 66.
Edmond’s theme is “Miracle on 2nd Street” as we light up our 13.4 miles of Route 66 with events, activities and light displays. We are inviting visitors and encouraging residents to participate all season long by shopping, dining and playing in Edmond.
Pie Eating Contest
At the heart of downtown Edmond, where history and community intersect, we proudly present the Edmond 4th of July Pie Eating Contest, a scrumptious event aimed at fostering unity, joy, and local pride. Our mission is twofold: to bring our community together in a spirit of camaraderie after the dazzling parade, and to ignite a surge of support for the Railyard Pie Company and all the other captivating projects that grace downtown Edmond.
Heard on Hurd
